MY FIRST DAY OF...
My first day of Worship Leading goes quite well though... how should i begin?? This morning at 10.30 am I was waiting and waiting for my psalmist(backup singer) to come. She's a bit late and the service is suppose to start at 10.30 sharp.. luckily or should i said sadly, the congregation(church ppl) is not on time so I can wait a little bit longer before i start the service.
around 10.40 am, my psalmist (she's a worship leader too, her job is to cover my voice in case i sing off key..hahahah) finally arrive and surprisingly the ppl start flooding in... so i start the worship.. i started okay...some signal mistake in between 2 songs..hahahah...i signal too early...what type of signal ler...there's a few signal like verse 1, chorus, repeat the song, bridge, open worship, change song, last line and etc.
then up to the open worship (it's like erm...we are very into the mood of worshiping the Lord) part is still okay... i feel it's a bit short but i had done my best..hehehe...
The funny part is when i finished singing my closing song (after the message) I was standing there speechless...everyone is looking at me waiting for me to say something and I'm like smiling...I manage to look at the invited speaker and he smile at me...Aww... did you know what came out of my mouth? I said , 'What?' hahahhahahah....aiyoyo.... i'm really silly lar...hahahah... luckily my pastor came to me and i pass the microphone to him and he help me to close with an encourage word...hehehehe... i finally realise what i had forgotten to do...hahahahahahha.... so shy shy lar....
later i'm so glad that everyone came to me and tell me i did a great job and they like my worship leading ... i'm really encourage by those comments.....one thing that i forgot to mention is that i don't have any stage fright at all i dunno why..maybe to me it's like ....ermmm... how should i say..it's like worshiping Lord and i enjoy doing it so i don't feel fear and stress at all..but if you ask me to stand up there and speak...i think my knees will go shaking like earthquakes..hehehehe...
that's all the first day of worship leading i had to share..hope you all won't fall asleep will reading this long sharing..hehehe.. i'm really so happy that i feel like sharing it...kekekeke...
